Through a Push Zone client can upload their content to our CDN storage server, these content will be replicated across our CDN Edge servers for further delivery. By using push zone, all content will be archived on 5centscdn storage server. In VOD Push Zone, it supports only .mp4 files. To create and upload content to a VOD Push Zone, please follow the below steps : <ul> <li>Log into your 5centscdn Console</li> <li>On your Dashboard, The drop-down menu Push under VOD is located to the extreme left under Zones.</li> <li>Click on the Green Plus Button which is located at the top of the extreme right corner of the screen.</li> <li>In the re-directed page, under Create Zone &gt; Info</li> <li>From the Drop down menu Select the Region which is nearest to your source.</li> <li>You can set your custom CNAME that can be used to retrieve your content so that the request will be redirected to 5centsCDN domain. To make this happen you need to contact your DNS provider to add the custom CNAME in the DNS record so as to redirect the same to 5centsCDN domain.</li> <li>In “Auto Transcoding Profile ” option, you can add the preset profiles. (If you upload files to /raw folder, it will automatically transcode to the mentioned profiles)</li> <li>If you need mp4 streaming, then enable the option under "Edge settings"</li> <li>Under Cache, you can set the cache expiry</li> <li>Scroll down the page and click on the Create button.</li> <li>Once created a message “Success! The a la carte plan is a monthly plan. In this plan, you can customize the resources. So only pay for the selected resources. The a la carte plan is a heavily discounted plan, so we recommend using this plan. Also, you can cancel the plan anytime.

How to push or ingest a live stream to 5centsCDN?

Accepted Answer

If you are planning to encode your streams, you can use the Push feature.

To obtain your encoder credentials and CDN playback link, please follow the below steps:

Log into your 5centsCDN Console
On your Client Area, click on the “Manage CDN” button.
Click on the Live streams > Push-button.
Click on the Green Plus Button which is located at top of the extreme right corner of the screen.
In the re-directed page click on the drop-down menu called stream Info
Provide the stream Name. If the name given is not already used will be accepted.
Select the Origin Server list by clicking the Choose button. Make sure to select the appropriate server which is geographically located near to your encoder.
Scroll down the page and click on the Create button.
Success! Stream Created message will be displayed upon successful creation.

How to set up an encoder?

After the stream creation in the console, you have to set up your encoder. The encoder credentials are available under Dashoard>Live streams>Push>Manage>Encoder Credentials. Simply copy the credentials and paste them on your encoder setup.

First step in website acceleration is to verify your domain. You can verify your domain in Dashboard > Account > Domain verification.

Click the green plus button.
Provide the domain name in specified field (mydomain.com).
Click the create button.
In the redirected page, you will get Host, Value and TTL values. You need to add these values as TXT record in you DNS.
Click the verify button.

Before enabling the CDN website acceleration, you need to create a Cname in your domain (eg: cdn.mydomain.com).

Now you can easily upgrade your plans and packages from your CDN dashboard. However, for custom plans contact the sales team.

To upgrade the plan, Kindly follow the steps

Login to 5centsCDN console.
Click Plan under ACCOUNT on the left side of the console.
Click the “Upgrade Plan” option.
On the redirected page, Select the resources that you want to upgrade.
Click the continue button and make the payment.
