Hits - Akamai

Information on the number of hits per second on target media, including the following:

Edge. All hits to the Edge servers from end users.

Midgress. Includes hits from Edge Servers to other Edge Servers. This includes prefetched content and inter-media format fragments.

Origin. All hits from the Edge server to origin, this includes NetStorage and “Your” (custom) origins.
