How can I test my HLS stream?

This article explains how to test your HLS stream.

If you do not know how to create a stream in 5centsCDN, please refer to the KB. https://help.5centscdn.com/knowledge-base/how-to-push-a-stream-to-5centscdn/

After creation, you need to encode your stream from your encoder. Then you can test your live stream HLS URL is working or not. The HLS URL will get under Dashboard > Live streams > Push > Manage > Playback URL/Embed code.

You can test your HLS URL in 3 different ways

Open network streaming in VLC player (ctrl+n) and paste the HLS URL.
You can test the HLS URL using the JW player test stream. For HTTPS URL, please go through the link https://developer.jwplayer.com/tools/stream-tester/
For HTTP URL, Please go through the link http://stream-tester.jwplayer.com/
Go through the link and test the working of the HLS URL https://video-dev.github.io/hls.js/demo/
